Kilara 1919 - 1921

Frederick Brown bought land in Killara for the family to holiday at.  Being out in the bush, but still accessible by Railway (yes what is now Puffing Billy).  The land remained unsold until the 1970s.  Eddie Brown died in 1971 and Olive discovered that a nephew had been paying the rates, with the ultimate objective of claiming possession.  But I don't think Max missed out to much because of Aunty Olive being on the case.
